On October 22, 2011, Lifeline International hosted our annual Benefit Fashion Show. This gala event is a Pittsburgh tradition that provides local businesses with an opportunity to join us in the support of our work in Cambodia. Lifeline International is a 501c3 organization that has been ministering to the needs of orphans and children with HIV/AIDS in Asia for over a decade. We have been working with government officials and partners in Cambodia and India to improve HIV/ AIDS treatment and care.

This year, we turn our attention and fund raising efforts to an equally pressing need in the impoverished country of Cambodia, the care and housing of abandoned senior citizens.  Lifeline International has recently been granted 5 hectors (13 acres) of land on a main highway in Cambodia for the purpose of building a village for the homeless elderly citizens of that country. This is an enormous undertaking.  Lifeline will offer opportunities to these elderly people, who would otherwise be beggars,  to live out their golden years with dignity.
